                                                     Teignmouth Aug 24 1819

a Beautiful Calm evening with Light Clouds on a Blue

Sky towards the Horizon on a warm grey- the water a

Clear Grey. Boats on the water the Sails light & warm Colour

& a white Sail- the Clouds in this form

the Light Striking on the distant hills.  [sketch]

The Sky towards the Horizon [???] Grey the Light on

the Sea yellowish silvery grey the Shadows Blue, time about

7 OClock looking South.
